Brewery Tap, High Street, Wimbledon Village

Planning permission was granted in February 2011 for the extension and conversion of the upper floors of The Brewery Tap public house into prestigious residential apartments within Wimbledon Village.

Working within a constrained urban site, adjacent to listed buildings and in a prominent location in the Wimbledon Village Conservation Area, JSA Planning successfully negotiated with the Council and the local community to secure a valuable consent in this desirable location.

Bulkington Road, Bedworth

JSA has been granted planning permission at committee for the redevelopment of the site to provide 7 family houses in Bedworth. JSA was originally appointed in 2010 for both architecture and planning to review the development potential of a redundant public house site adjacent to the Grand Union Canal. Following extensive pre-application discussions with the planning department at Nuneaton and Bedworth Council, the scheme was approved unanimously at committee.

The houses were designed to address and benefit from views over the canal, whilst respecting the neighbouring properties and addressing the highway.

Fishery Road, Bray

Overcoming conservation and flooding constraints with the use of innovative design, JSA have successfully secured planning permission for a bespoke replacement family dwelling in a highly sought after location on the riverside in Bray.

The approved design takes reference from local Arts & Crafts buildings, and will make a positive contribution to the Fishery Estate Conservation Area.
