Senior Planner/Town Planner

An award-winning Architectural and Planning consultancy is actively looking for an experienced Planner/ Senior Planner to join their team based in Maidenhead. You will be a full member of the RTPI and able to demonstrate a track record as a project lead in the Southeast of England. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing consultancy and to be influential in shaping the business. You will be commercially focused, a good negotiator and able to work to achieve high professional standards for both clients and colleagues. You will also be required to get involved in business development and complete project management. You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. You will also have a flexible and creative nature, with a conscientious attitude and excellent attention to detail. An ideal candidate would: • Be a Planner/Senior Town Planner in an established planning practice • Have a proven track-record leading projects • Be a full member of the RTPI • Have a good knowledge of the UK Planning system • Have experience in managing client’s aspirations • Demonstrate experience leading and coordinating teams • Have a desire to contribute to development of the wider business The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package and healthcare benefits (dependent upon experience), varied and interesting project work; and a friendly working environment.

Graduate Planner

You will be commercially focused, a go-getter, aiming to achieve high professional standards for both clients and colleagues. You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. You will also have a flexible and creative nature, with a conscientious attitude and excellent attention to detail.

An ideal candidate would:

  • Be a graduate in a Town Planning or related discipline
  • Have clear enthusiasm for planning and have a clear concept of what good development looks like
  • Be conscientious and motivated by excellence in your work
  • Be passionate about learning the UK Planning system
  • Have an excellent manner with customers and be able to successfully liaise with clients and team
  • Have a desire to contribute to development of the wider business

The Graduate Planner will have opportunity to work with Senior Colleagues on a variety of projects within housing, mixed use, leisure, design and land promotion projects – as well as others! A full driving licence and working towards full RTPI accreditation would be looked upon favourably.
