JSA secured planning permission, on behalf of this client and oversaw the project from working drawings, project management, discharge of condition, through to delivery. The project was based in Chinnor a small village in Oxfordshire, which fortunately has direct access to the B4009 that links to the M40 to the south and the A4010 to the north.
The land, which now holds three pairs of semi-detached dwellings that provide beautifully constructed 6 x 3-bed units, with our expert management. The modern dwellings have been built using a varied mix of materials including red and tan bricks. The homes are closely constructed giving a close-knit community-like feel to the occupants. Within walking distance, there are a mix of local shops and facilities that can be accessed by residents with great ease. The site has provided a new and flexible residential development whilst preserving and enhancing the character of the wider area.
The site holds previously developed land within an established residential area and has enhanced the appearance of the existing site and the wider street scene. The development has benefitted the housing stock within the District; as previously established by similar projects within the locality.
