The Napier Road development comprises 248 new build residential apartments on a brownfield site close to the centre of Reading. The development is easily recognisable with its blue sloping roofs, conjuring an image of a small fleet of ships moored at the river bank.

Set back from the River Thames, the apartment blocks rise to a maximum height of 10 storeys around a layout designed to minimise impact on the adjoining historic `Kings Meadow`.

The development was approved in 2004 and completed in 2006.
